Harper's Island

Have you watched the show Harper's Island on CBS? Well I have. I've watched every episode of the series so far and here is my synopsis/opinion:

Harper's Island is a murder mystery show that aired on CBS. Of course it had most of the cliched elements of a horror/murder mystery movie. The main character, Abbey has the past almost every horror movie heroine. Her mother one of the six that were killed in the first killings on this island, and now the killings are going to start happening again, OH DEAR!!!

Anyway, the deaths that are happening now start to remind everyone of John Wakefeild, the guy who killed Abbey's mother. Oh yes, everything comes together! But these killings couldn't posibly be Wakefeild. I mean, Abbey's father (who also happens to be the sheriff on the island) hunted down and killed Wakefeild.

Well as more and more people get brutally murdered, (Decapitation, burned to death, sliced in half...) Abbey slowly starts to realize what is going on. She finds in her father's attic every possible news article, map, anything that can be related to Wakefeild, and then something clicks in her mind, WAKEFEILD ISN'T DEAD....

Oh come on!!! The person they think it is all along is actually the murderer? WTF!?!?! What happened to surprise endings?!?! What ever happened to the future groom (who's wedding is planned on the island, hence the guests being there) turning around and being the killer to everyone's surprise.

Oh that's right, silly me. That actually happened. In the last episode we find out that Henry, the groom ends up being John Wakefeild's son, and Abbey's half sister. Yeah weird! Henry was helping Wakefeild with the murders all along, killing most of the people.

By the end of the series Henry ends up killing almost everyone, including his father. The only people that made it off were Madison, Madison's Mother, Abbey, and Jimmy (Abbey's love interest).

All in all, it was a great show!!! I recomend that when the series comes out on dvd you PICK IT UP!!!!!!
